Meet the Teachers

Our little girl is growing up fast....she's about to start school! OK, I know it's just Mother's Day Out (or in our case it's Nannie's Day Out) two days a week, but it's still such a big FIRST for us! We went to meet her teachers tonight. She walked right into the room without any hesitation and immediately started playing with all the other kids. When we went to take her picture with the teachers she reached for them and was perfectly fine to be held. She did great! I really think it will be so good for her to be around a group of kids regularly. I think she is going to love it! Her teachers are Miss Kiersten and Miss Ruby. They were very sweet and excited about all of the kiddos.

We were the last family in her room, so after all the other kids and parents had left Matt said to the teachers, "you know, she will be the smartest one in your class?" Kiersten said, "I'm sure she will!" I'm sure that's a response that she gives to all of the EMBARRASSING parents, but she was sweet to play along with Matt's humor so well. It was funny! He then told them that she can count and say her ABC's .... I was waiting for one of them to roll their eyes.

I was relieved that there was another mom that had a camera too, so I wasn't the only one! Then another mom said she had forgotten to bring her camera, so I played paparazzi to her little boy and emailed her the pictures when we got home. Of course the blog wouldn't be complete without some pictures to document the event! So, here they are...

Here's Campbell with her new teachers....Miss Kiersten on the left and Miss Ruby on the right

There were Push-up suckers for the kids. Campbell hadn't figured out how to open hers, but she quickly found a little boy who had mastered it! She walked up to him and said, "can I hab it?"

This little girl is only 18-months old, but she is definitely winning the hair race! I think Campbell might be beating Daddy soon though :)

Where is she going to school...Sydney and I just looked at the pictures together and she said, "look Campbell has 2 teachers, too...just like me!" I know she will do great in school...especially since she walked RIGHT in with us to Sydney's class party last year!! :o)
