I love that we've had so many votes on our poll...clearly the majority think that we will have girls, which is what we expected. Too funny! I do think it would be so fun to find out we are having boys just to surprise everyone :-) , but honestly we will be so excited either way. Well, I've been so disappointed that with the poll to vote on the sex of the babies, pretty much no one has left comments!! I can't tell who voted what, which I thought would be fun to know! I guess I should have requested that in my post :-) . Anyways, I figured if I shared our name choices, that would get people talking!! We really wanted to find names that we are equally excited about for boys and girls. We definitely have found them!! Let me prepare you that our girl names are definitely "unique" for girls, but we really think they are cute! Plus, Campbell was pretty different, so we felt like we wanted to do the same for any other girls that we have.
If we have boys ....
Cooper Allan and
Connor MatthewIf we have girls ....
Cooper Marie and
Conley KateOf course Matthew and Allan are from Matt's name, his first and middle name. The girls' middle names are from Matt's sisters. Sara's middle name is Marie (which is also
Channing's middle name, and Matt's aunt's middle name). Kate comes from Matt's sister Katie - we thought Conley Kate sounded so cute! Campbell's middle name is Kay, which is the same middle name as me, my mom and my sister.
SO, what do you think??? Actually, if you really don't like them, feel free NOT to comment - ha ha! If you think it's strange to do Cooper for both a boy and a girl, how funny is it that we were actually going to do Cooper AND Connor for both boys or girls at first, but then we heard the name Conley (thanks Aunt
Lala and
McKellie!!) and loved it! We have confused Campbell terribly though, because when we ask her the names, we have to say Cooper to get her started, and then she'll say Conley and Connor. 3 names for 4 possible babies - confusing, huh? Not to mention, that if we have boys, she'll always wonder what happened to Conley or vice-
versa with Connor! Poor child!
I'm 14 weeks today .... woo-
hoo!! Also, I did not add girl and boy as a choice on the poll since we know we only had one embryo, so it had to have split making them identical. I have had a FEW people suggest to me the possibility that a "swimmer" may have gotten through on it's own in addition to the embryo that we transferred - ha ha!! I guess that is a possibility, but I imagine the chances are pretty unlikely. I guess we will find out though!!
