I love the Ped Egg!

Now I know I read about this on Lolly and Janelle's blog at some point in time, and I've seen it on TV many times, but I had never actually tried one....sorry, I'm sure that was a run-on sentence of some kind! While checking out at Bed Bath and Beyond this past weekend, I was a sucker for all the gadgets that they have right there by the register. My sister and I both bought a Ped Egg finally! I'm telling you people it works GREAT! I love it! I have used it while sitting next to the tub while Campbell takes a bath. It really does make your feet so smooth!! Anyways, for those of you that don't have one, you should put it on your Christmas list!! They are $9.99 at Bed Bath and Beyond, and of course you can take in your 20% off coupon....I know we all have drawer-fulls of those! I even got the pink one with the Breast Cancer Awareness pink ribbon. Matt hasn't tried it yet, but I know he will love it too!! Is that gross to share a Ped Egg with your husband??? Maybe I need to get him one too. I hope you all get one!! They are awesome!

The Prettiest Dallas Cowboy

Sick Little Girl

Poor Campbell has had a stomach bug or something Friday and Saturday. She threw up quite a few times this weekend. She didn't seem to keep anything down, so she wasn't eating much. In attempts to make sure she was staying hydrated, we offered her a strawberry popsicle and jello .... she loved making a mess with those! This was taken after her second bath on Saturday around 3:00. We were almost to my grandparents when she threw up in the car and we turned around to come home.

Other Random San Diego Pics

This one is cute! She immediately found the phone that she was so excited she could reach! Luckily, we had two room phones, so we just unplugged this one for the weekend so she could play with it. She made lots of phone calls while we were in San Diego.

I had to take this picture in the car, because I thought she looked just like that little boy Mikey in the movie Look Who's Talking!

Talking on the phone AGAIN!

BUSTED! Yes, I caught her watching TV with her hand IN HER PANTS!

I just thought this one was sweet! She's having breakfast in bed.

This one was funny of her trying to go to sleep with her arm hanging out of the crib.

SOLD!!!

I know many of you are saddened today, because you missed out on such a great STEAL. Yes, we sold the Saturn last night!! It was our first interested buyer, and we jumped on his offer of $700!! We are just glad to be done with it, and we are honestly very happy to have gotten that much. I just thought I would update all of you since I know you were all about to pick up the phone to call us to make an offer ... ha ha!

San Diego

We are back from San Diego!! We had SUCH a great time! Of course I even took pictures at the airport and on the airplane....

Friday we ate lunch at In-N-Out after checking into the hotel...it's a burger place that we don't have here. Campbell and I had never been, but Matt had been on work trips before. Anyways, I wasn't that impressed, but the lady at the hotel said if I had never been that I had to try it.

Friday afternoon/evening we went to checkout the beach. Campbell LOVED the beach! I'm not sure which part was her favorite....chasing seagulls or standing in the waves....she screamed with excitement at both! She was mad when we took her to the car to leave.

Friday night we went to Old Town to eat at a place recommended by Diane called La Pinata....it was excellent!! I had shrimp enchiladas and Matt had fajitas...both were very good! There was also a mariachi band that played Twinkle Twinkle Little Star for Campbell....she sang with them....so sweet. Then we walked around Old Town and stopped for ice cream.

Saturday we got up to be at the zoo when it opened. We took a bus tour of the zoo right away just to get an overall idea of the layout and the different exhibits. It was a good idea if you've never been, but it was hard for Campbell to see from the bus most of the time. We were able to see things much better once we were walking around. We stayed at the zoo until close to closing time, so we were definitely exhausted!

Saturday night we were oh so daring to venture out to try something that everyone MUST do when visiting San Diego.....we went to eat dinner at the Cheesecake Factory....I know it's sad. We actually really like the Cheesecake Factory, and Matt was craving it that night. We had discussed going to the Fish Market, as suggested by Lolly, but then in the lobby Matt asked for directions to the nearest Cheesecake Factory....so we had a last minute change of plans guided by Matt's craving. Campbell was dead tired, but she acted her normal happy self so we took the risk to venture out. At this point it was 7:30 in San Diego....9:30 "Campbell time". Anyways, we didn't even get finished munching on bread before she threw up.....I felt so bad for her, but so embarrassed for anyone to see. Keep in mind, they don't even have a kids menu at the Cheesecake Factory, so I'm sure they were thrilled to have a small child throwing up in front of their customers! We decided to get our food to-go, but before I could pack up and get her to the car, she threw up two more times. Poor thing! Here are some pictures of the short time that we were out that evening.

She was eyeing the different cheesecakes while we waited for our table.
She crashed when we got back to the room, and was back to her normal self the next morning. We still aren't sure what made her get sick.

Sunday we had reservations for Breakfast with Elmo when Sea World opened. Campbell was excited about the characters, but she wasn't real thrilled to be up close and personal with them. Once they would back away so she had more space she was dancing, pointing at all of them and talking about them. It was a buffet breakfast. The food was OK, but the characters made it worth it for the kids!

We took in all the shows and exhibits during the day at Sea World. We closed down the park there too!

We also had reservations for a late lunch....Dining with Shamu. This was a buffet also, but you were seated at your reserved table and you had a waiter to bring you drinks. I would HIGHLY reccommend this to anyone!! The food was pretty good, and the entertainment was awesome! We were seated just 5-6 feet away from the tank where they had trainers explaining how they train the killer whales and showing us their different tricks. There weren't very many people, so it was easy for anyone to ask questions for the trainers too. It was great! It was pretty amazing how close we were!!

I actually took lots more pictures than I could post, so I'll try to post a link to my Kodak album later this week. I'm working on titles and captions for the pictures now.
