Well, I had hoped that with my big reveal of my blog this weekend that I’ve FINALLY started I would have a big announcement that we were pregnant, but as many of you know that is not the case. It wasn’t meant to be this time around, but we are still very hopeful to grow our family more in God’s timing!! Either way, I’m very excited to be starting this blog! Campbell is starting to talk more and more and is saying and doing the funniest things, so hopefully I can share them with everyone now! If you scroll down to the bottom, you can also view a slideshow with more pictures of Miss Campbell. I do have to give credit where it is due! Tracy E. was so kind to design the adorable blog for me! I'm so happy with the way it turned out! It definitely made me even more excited about starting a blog! Jenn K. was so creative to help me with the title....Campbell's Scoop!! I love it! Yes, it is supposed to sound like Campbell's Soup...isn't that cute??? Anyways, thank you both for your help! I hope that I don't let you down with my posting!
I know it is a random first post to write about our car for my big “blog reveal”, but that is what is going on with us this weekend, so that’s what I’m going to write about! We have finally decided that the Saturn has seen its last days as a member of the Cheatham family. Seriously, we tried to trade it in, and do you want to know what they offered us...$250!!! Yes, that is right….ONLY $250!!! Come on people! I mean, I know that it is truly an eyesore. Yes, it needs a new paint job, and yes, the interior is just atrocious. The ceiling is pretty much ripped to pieces and falling off. However, the AC works great, we just put a new battery in it, and the radio and CD player still work. Sure, you have to use a pen to turn the volume up since the button has fallen off and fallen down inside the stereo, but $250??? I know, it’s embarrassing! We are still determined to get more for it. We think we’re going to put it on Craig’s list to see what we can get…wish us luck! Let me know if anyone is interested….ha ha!! In it’s defense though, it was a much more attractive car when my parents bought it for me back in 1997. I loved it! It was a pretty dark gren with tan interior and a sunroof. My dad added the tinted windows, the CD player, the cute spoiler, and the stripe down the side. It really was a very cute car for a 16 year old!! Thanks mom and dad!! Over the past 11 years, it’s definitely gotten us where we needed to go, but unfortunately it’s seen better days.
So, we now have three cars! Yes, our beautiful Saturn for the time being gets to be a nice ornament in front of our house until we can find a poor soul who wants to buy it. Anyways, we are SO SO excited that we bought a 2005 Nissan Altima in its place! It’s a nice car that I can drive to work everyday to downtown Dallas and we can enjoy on the weekends as well. Even Campbell was excited to try it out!

Here she is happy to get to play with the keys
Christy, you’ll be proud to see that Campbell wore the dress that you bought her to go with us car shopping this morning!

I love the blog! I'm so excited and will add it to my list of favorites.
Well, you just didn't try to trade the Saturn in at the right dealership. We traded Jordan's beat up green 1998 Mustang, that was in much worse shape than your car and we got $1,000 at the Cadillac dealership. I was shocked! I know it went straight to the scrap metal yard. They just wanted to get us out of there as quick as possible
I love the bog! Gigi can't get enough Miss Campbell stories, so I will be checking in a lot!
I have a picture of you the day you got that Saturn, Missy! Wow, wasn't that just last year?? :)
I love the Blog site. Now we can keep up with you and your busy life. Besides, a daily dose of Campbell Scoop is good for the soul. I look forward to reading your blogs and seeing new pics of Miss Campbell.
I just got your blog address from your mom. Very pretty blog. I will visit often to see your sweet Campbell. I just started a blog myself this summer.

Missy, I'm excited you have a blog so we can keep up with the latest goings-on of the Cheathams. How fun! The site is so cute, including the design and the "Campbell's Scoop" title. Congratulations on the new car... that is exciting! And for the Saturn, did you try Carmax? If not, it may be worth a shot. Hugs all around from us!
It is great to stay in touch with you guys, if only just in pictures. Love your sweet little one...enjoy every minute--they grow too fast! Thanks for sharing with us all.
